A properly matched sleeping bag provides the user with thermal comfort and a peaceful sleep. In stores, you can find hundreds of different models, so how do you choose the one that will work for your planned trip?

After spring in our climate, you can expect just about anything. One day, we are surprised by tropical temperatures, and another day, it's cold with snow or heavy rain.

Down sleeping bags have super heating properties. However, some people believe that they are very difficult to care for.Some outdoor enthusiasts think that a soaked down sleeping bag will never dry out, so taking it on longer trips is unreasonable. Funnily enough, it is quite the opposite - in fact, you do not have to make a special effort to dry a well-designed sleeping bag filled with natural down. The laws of physics suffice to explain it.

Washing a down sleeping bag is quite problematic. After all, we are talking about one of the most expensive elements of outdoor equipment, so everyone worries about damaging it during washing.
On the other hand, you can’t pretend that your sleeping bag is still clean and does not need to be refreshed. Fortunately, the whole operation is not as difficult as it might seem. In today's post we will give you some guidelines how to safely wash the down sleeping bag so as not to destroy its thermal properties during washing.

Natural down is the highest quality insulation, so clothing filled with it is worn when facing challenging weather conditions. It's no wonder that sometimes a down jacket gets wet or it's simply time to wash it.
