We are the Pajak family. Love for nature and extreme sports is our heritage

From the beginning, PAJAKā€™s mission has been to create products that are lightweight and provide optimal thermal conductivity, thanks to which you can feel safe and comfortable pushing your limits.

PAJAK originated in the Polish Beskid Mountains back in 1983, where the company and manufacturing factory remains today.

From here we put our backpacks on, open the front door and set off on trips testing our products in the wild Beskid, which we consider our home soil. From the very beginning, weā€™ve been inspired to care for the natural environment through our attitude and actions.

40 years of Pajak

40 years ago, Ewa and Andrzej Pająk decided to start their own company. The idea was born out of a specific need. At a time when practically everything was missing, Ewa and Andrzej Pająk, active athletes, decided to start the production of professional tourist equipment. In 1983, the first down products with the spider logo are created. In the latest issue of the 4OUTDOOR Biznes magazine, June 2023, there was an extensive conversation with Wojtek Pająk, in which we summarize the 40 years of our company's operation. In an interview with Piotr Turkot, Wojtek talks about the difficult beginnings, the most important moments in our history so far and the challenges that await us.

That's why we joined EOCA which brings together companies from the outdoor industry and "millions of people who protect nature and wild places". We share knowledge and consciously begin to build an internal sustainable development policy.

Light and Fast

We saw an opportunity to explore the trending Light and Fast niche. Down is irreplaceable for sleeping bags and mid-layers, it is ultralight and packs down small. We rationalized the consumption of raw materials and gave our customers well-thought solutions for their safety and comfort. Phantom jacket, Radical range of sleeping bags, and the XC3 backpack are the lightest in their class.

1983

PAJAK is born

Ewa and Andrzej Pająk based their business on a passion for sport and resourcefulness. They are the first post-war generation of Polish private entrepreneurship. In the era of chronic scarcity, already in 1983, they decided to take matters into their own hands. Together, they led the company through four decades of turbulent times of transformation, crises, and prosperity, eventually introducing the next generation of the Pająk family into the business.
