Radical 4Z is made for those who don’t look for easy ways. For people who sleep above two thousand meters and need gear that won’t fail when the temperature drops below zero.
It’s filled with 465 g of premium Polish white goose down (900 CUIN, 95/5). The down expands instantly, forming a natural thermal barrier around your body and keeping you warm even at –7°C.
The Z-shaped baffle construction prevents cold spots, spreading the warmth evenly throughout the night.
Outside, it’s protected by GELANOTS Ultra Light Rip Stop Shell – a lightweight, breathable fabric that’s resistant to abrasion and moisture. If a small tear appears, the Rip Stop structure stops it from spreading. The HMS system (Humidity Management System) helps wick away moisture and keeps the down dry.
The YKK zipper is water-repellent and glides smoothly, even in gloves. A 3D inner draft tube seals it from the inside, and a 3D shoulder collar locks in warmth around your neck and shoulders – where heat usually escapes fastest.
After the night, the bag dries by itself – just hang it using the loops sewn inside and outside. Inside, there’s a pocket for essentials, and in the set – a compression sack and a mesh storage bag. It weighs 735 g, packs down to about 5 liters, and is ready for anything – from winter camping to long alpine routes.
Radical 4Z has been tested in one of the harshest environments on Earth – during Kamila Kielar’s solo sea-kayak expedition across the Pacific. It stayed with her from the first wave to the last shore. And even the ocean couldn’t get it wet.
