    • Lynx was a widespread species in the territory of Poland until Middle Ages. As a result of the human activity, the transformation of environment and hunting, the range of Lynxes started to shrink rapidly. Granting lynx full species protection in Poland occurred in 1995. Lynx was listed as a strictly protected species. Over the last few years Lynxes are slowly returning to Beskidy Mountains after decades of absence. These mountains are also our home. PAJAK was founded here in Bielsko-Biala city in 1983.
